This flip-time screensaver comes courtesy of Yuji Adachi, a Japanese developer WHO also creates and publishes other free goodies in any case screensavers, such as fonts, apps, picture sets and screen background wallpapers. The Fliqlo screensaver, however, appears to be ane of his most popular projects, and it's still actively developed. An iOS app version of the screensaver for iPhone and iPad was recently discharged, and is now available in the App Store for $0.99.
The premise of this screensaver is simple: it turns your screen into an emeritus-fashioned flip-time that looks often like the electromechanical alarm clocks made-up in the mid-twentieth century. These clocks quickly grew in popularity referable their simple but elegant design, displaying the time in tumid colourless numerals against a black background. The fun and beauty of this screensaver is that it can effectively turn any Windows Beaver State Mackintosh OS X computer into such an elegant and useful clock. The large the screen, the big the clock.
Any options lendable to this screensaver, that the original flip clocks did not possess, include the power to switch between a 12 and a 24-hour data format. What is more, the size of the clock can Be adjusted on a scale of 25% to 125%. These settings can equal readjust at any time.

Sigh, wait for update for the Windows version (v1.4)...doesn't cash in one's chips on mouse move, have to press any operative just now to get it to close. Artwork are off, not as clean as the underivative. Different font being used. Numbers displayed on a armored desktop do not eye properly, and the far justly numbers are clipped. At least it is no yearner mutualist on flash beingness installed. Stock-still no seconds option after all these old age.

The red-hot version (1.4) requires you to whole uninstall the previous edition before installment the new adaptation. I just did it and IT works smooth now. The only thing that looks polish off, at the least on the windows version, is the size looks large, more zoomed in. Non as clean look imho

I love it tbh only since Flash International Relations and Security Network't a thing anymore, i have not been able to use it, there's just a white screen and IT's honestly upsetting.

Only two-screens display the clock. The 3rd screen doesn't have a clock and just displays a blank silver screen. The clock is nonmoving so possibly become a screen burner. I rather unrivalled clock show that lav be configured to video display one screen at a time (variable from one blank screen to another instead of display connected 2 screens and incommunicative on another). The frequence shifting from one screen to some other can cost configurable (make these an option). For a single exhibit, perhaps have the option to scroll so IT doesn't bide dead centre everytime? The time looks precise nice other than.

Love the design and retro look up to, just IT doesn't support multi-monitors well. I have a Surface Book well-connected to two 24" LCD monitors. Desktop is extended, non reflected. The clock shows up all right connected the Surface Ledger screen, but not the Liquid crystal display monitors. Would be nice to make an alternative to just now show on main screen.

Awesome throwback look! I have noticed that in my Windows 10 Surface the screensaver goes black and IT locks my system. I've had to restart manually a a couple of times. Finally I stopped victimisation it. Any word on wherefore?

Be very careful victimisation this screensaver for prolonged periods of time without exchange. Because it's very high contrast and the clock face is entirely static, you can suffer a cauterise in (which I did). I'm in the sue of mending it with a wallpaper created in stark gabardine. The somerset-time is a dread screensaver, when I downloaded IT blocked my Mack, the mouse ba workings and when it went to sleep mode –IT didn't wake up– I had to force information technology to start once more. I had to blue-pencil the screensaver app.

Beware, this screensaver nught look innocent, but it remotely tries to connect with approximately ip dishonorable to me. When I downloaded the screensaver, it was a different font than the pictures displayed. I checked with my sister, because she has the clock I wanted and it was the exact same download (same numbers racket and class), but mine is non obturate letters.

Simple and nice superficial screen saver. Running connected a couple of Windows 10 computers.
A concern that I have is ... I copied the 314-Fliqlo Setup.exe (Windows) file to my Google Drive for safe keeping. When I try on to download that file out from my Google drive to any other computer, Google blocks the download and states that a computer virus was detected.
Screensavers Planet: Thanks for reporting that! I suspect they use ClamAV, among other programs, to scan files for viruses, and ClamAV raises a ease off for the charge. I have submitted a false positive report to ClamAV and expect the file to be cleared before long.

Installed the screensaver on my Gain-Vista system today, love the retrospective look. Works well as is but when I enter "settings" for screensaver information technology brings upwardly a twinkling window which allows me to piddle changes (24hr, 125%) just does not save them when I way out. It shows a "reset" button but none "save" button, so I'm assuming it is supposed to be automatic upon closure. Some suggestions?

Our school uses this as a time in the ITV studio, and broadcasts IT all day long altogether the classrooms on their TVs. Teachers will scare if someone bumps the information processing system and the clock goes out.

I very care it. It's not bright or over complicated. I use it happening my laptop that sits on my night stand. It's nice for ME, because I wear glasses.. So when I am quiescence. I can just look over, without fumbling for my glasses or trying to find my phone, and know what time it is.
My BIGGEST petpeeve with this. I use 24 minute time. I am always wakeful upfield at different multiplication, so it's Often easier for me to glance over, look at the clock. Cool. 900.. It's 9am... 2100.. poise. It's 9pm.. This affair has a habit of RANDOMLY switching BACK to 12 hour time COMPLETELY ON IT'S OWN. This has almost made me posthumous to things MORE THAN Erst! VERY frustrating!

I have the new MacBook Pro with Retina running on macOS Scomberomorus sierra 10.12.1 and this isn't working. Any suggestions I tried the right clicking method acting and opening it through there and saving it onto my desktop.
Screensavers Planet: 1st wide-eyed the .dmg file you downloaded to bring up a window where three files will be shown. Right-click the "Fliqlo.saver" file away, choose "Receptive", then click "OK". Unsatisfactory that, please carry to the subject matter board for fend for.

Had IT for about 6 months on my Macintosh that was running Oculus sinister X Yosemite Falls and it worked wonderfully. Recently updated to OS X EI Captain and it same it doesn't run on this software.. Had to reinstall and information technology works perfectly once more. Never had a problem with this screensaver and looks lovely. 10/10

I do jazz this screen rescuer, and throw been exploitation it for ages, however I fresh got another monitor, so that I can have two screens when working. When I use just my monitor with the laptop closed, then this screen rescuer works elegant, however when I use both screens, it is off centre and to a fault large on my supernumerary monitor. Some sort of settings that could beryllium changed for multiple monitors would arrive at this screensaver even more awesome :)

i went into display settings and recovered fliqlo there. it was extremely easy to adjust the timeout period every bit with whatsoever another screensaver. so 5 stars. dig it. a LOT.

There was a security update to Cyberspace Adventurer Flash Player today. I uninstalled the update and now Fliqlo is working over again.

I've been using this screensaver for year (on Windows), and like others have said, now it randomly stopped impermanent and only shows a Andrew D. White screen. Tried and true restart and uninstall/reinstall with no luck. I loved it until it stopped running nowadays.

Check your installed programs. It looks like-minded Adobe downloaded a wink player update today. That must be what killed any screensaver using flash.

I've had this screen saver for years and absolutely adored it. I waken up this morning to find that the CRT screen saver doesn't reveal a clock anymore...just a white blank screen. I restarted the computer and IT didn't avail. Uninstalled fliqlo and reinstalled and no luck. Eventide downloaded the newest version and it still just shows a white screen. Not happy right now.
